A Bit About Me

My Background

My name is Francesco and I am a trained classical pianist and piano technician / tuner / strings maker. My skills in piano repair and tuning were acquired during training with the head technicians of Schimmel, Boesendorfer, Yamaha, Fazioli and Steinway & Sons.  

Since I have moved to London, I have worked with five of the capital's major piano importers and dealers as a piano tuner.

I have an extensive experience as a piano technician and tuner with a focus on Concert Piano Preparation with the following institutions (among others):

Theatres: Royal Opera House, White Hall, Royal Albert Hall, The South Place Ethical Society, Sadlers Wells, Barbican, National Theatre.

Music Schools: The Yehudi Menuhin School, Brunel University of Arts.

TV, Radio and Recording Studios: BBC, ITV, Three Mills Island, Abbey Road Studios.

Arts and Cultural Institutions: Tate Britain, National Portrait Gallery, Kensington Palace Orangery.
